The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World is getting an anime in 2025, with Junichi Suwabe voicing the main character Ken’ichi. A teaser trailer has been released for the anime.

The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World (Arafo Otoko no Isekai Tsuhan Seikatsu) is originally a light novel by Hifumi Asakura. It ran on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from 2017 to 2021, while SB Creative published it in print. There is also a manga adaptation by Umiharu, which ran in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine from April 2019 to May 2024. The anime will be adapting the manga.

Ken’ichi, a single man who’s almost 40, is suddenly transferred to another world. As he navigates his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he realizes that he can use a huge online shopping site. Ken’ichi aims to use his cheat ability to live a slow life in another world!
Junichi Suwabe was voted by our fans as the Best Male Seiyuu for 2023.
