Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime announced Nobuhiko Okamoto as the voice actor for the Fire Dragon God, Ignia. The character made his appearance in episode 6, showing a connection with Igneel. Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with Shinji Ishihara as the chief director and Toshinori Watanabe as the director.
Nobuhiko Okamoto is known for voicing many popular characters, some of which are Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia, Takumi Usui from Maid-Sama, Himmel from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Accelerator in the A Certain Magical Index series, among many others. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a sequel manga to the original Fairy Tail series, written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. It began serialization in Magazine Pocket in 2018. The manga has 18 volumes published as of August 2024. Kodansha US is publishing it in English, and they describe the story:
